This pattern includes lots of special stitches - be sure to read all the Special Stitches and Notes before you begin! And there is a crochet symbol chart as well, which is fantastic!

Techniques and tutorials you might find helpful: Crochet Abbreviations; Extended Single Crochet (ESC); Popcorn Stitches; Standing Double Crochet.

This one ran a little large for me - guess I've been feeling relaxed lately! So I just worked R15 as single crochet and it all worked out. But everyone's gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go, and check your gauge. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.

I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1: Holly Berry; Rnd 2: Tigerlily; Rnd 3: Lettuce; Rnd 4: Iced Aqua; Rnd 5: Hot Pink; Rnd 6-7: Holly Berry; Rnd 8: Tigerlily; Rnd 9: Lettuce Rnd 10: Iced Aqua; Rnd 11: Hot Pink; Rnd 12: Holly Berry; Rnd 13: Tigerlily; Rnd 14 Iced Aqua; Rnd 16: Fruit Punch.

This square benefited from a mild blocking. To block this square, I used the wet blocking method and a Chetnanigans BlocksAll Ultra blocking board and Perfecting Strips.
