This pattern includes some unique stitches - be sure to read all the Special Stitches and Notes before you begin! It's a little tricky, but with patience it creates a beautiful square!

I almost went to big with this one! So I skipped Rnd 13 and worked Rnd 14 as single crochet instead. But everyone's gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go, and check your gauge. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.

I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1: Tigerlily; Rnd 2: Holly Berry; Rnd 3 and 4: Lettuce; Rnd 5-7: Hot Pink; Rnd 8 and 9: Iced Aqua; Rnd 10 and 11: Tigerlily; Rnd 12: Holly Berry; Rnd 13: skipped; Rnd 14: Fruit Punch.

This square benefited from a very mild blocking. To block this square, I used the wet blocking method and a Chetnanigans BlocksAll Ultra blocking board and Perfecting Strips.
