This pattern is simple – but you do have to pay attention! I made a mistake on mine – can you spot it? I didn’t even notice til it was done, so I will probably leave it in the finished blanket – now it’s a unique design feature! 😉
This one was coming out just a hair to big for me, so I worked the final round under both loops, and then it came out to 12″. But everyone’s gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go, and check your gauge. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows – Row 1-5: Hot Pink; Row 6-10: Iced Aqua; Row 11-15: Tigerlily; Row 16-20: Lettuce; Row 21-24: Hot Pink; Row 25-28: Lettuce; Row 29-32: Tigerlily; Row 33-35: Iced Aqua; Row 36: Fruit Punch.
