This pattern has some fun and unique moves – love that! It also addresses the lean that can appear so often in squares by working in turned rounds/joined rows. Be sure to read the instructions carefully to see when to turn your work!

My square was coming out just a little bit big, so for Rnd 13 I used the recommended optional size adjustment and went with hdc – and that got me to 12″. But everyone’s gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go, and check your gauge. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1: Lettuce; Rnd 2-3: Holly Berry; Rnd 4-7: Tigerlily; Rnd 8-9: Hot Pink; Rnd 10: Iced Aqua; Rnd 11: Lettuce; Rnd 12: Iced Aqua; Rnd 13: Fruit Punch.
