Serenity Now Afghan Block

The Details
My Notes: This block features lots of lovely stitches! Be sure to read through the Special Stitches section before you begin.
Helpful Links and Tutorials: Crochet Abbreviations; Chainless Starting Double Crochet; BLO/FLO; seamless finishing; Standing Single Crochet; Standing Double Crochet; Working into a Slip Stitch; Treble Crochet; Back Post Double Crochet.
Sizing: My square came out just the right size as written. But remember, everyone's gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
What I Did: I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows:
Color A: White
Color B: Lilac
Color C: Aubergine
Color D: Light Gray
This square benefited from a mild blocking. To block this square, I used the wet blocking method and a Chetnanigans BlocksAll Ultra blocking board and Perfecting Strips.
