This month, for blocks 14 and 15, our designers co-ordinated the looks to create blocks that play off each other – so fun! This week’s block is #15 in the MooglyCAL2017, courtesy of Pattern Paradise!

And please note that squares need blocking! It makes all the difference when assembling your finished blanket. To block your squares, I recommend using a Chetnanigans blocking board like those shown in the clickable image below! Just put it on the board (the premeasured holes make it super easy!) and spritz it with water. When it’s dry… it’s blocked! Thank you to Chetnanigans for sponsoring this CAL post!

My Notes:
This pattern is free – CLICK HERE! To print or download the pattern for free, open a second tab on your browser to PrintFriendly.com and enter the URL there. If you need help with Print Friendly, please see the tutorial here.
There is a Special Stitch section – don’t miss it! The crochet cables here are gorgeous, and Maria has included helpful touches in the pattern to make it as easy as possible, like putting all the stitches worked in the BLO in red!

My square was coming out a bit large – so I omitted the penultimate round and that left me right at 12″! But everyone’s gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
I used a Furls Odyssey hook and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1-2: Aqua; Rnd 3-4: Aquamarine; Rnd 5-7: Radiant Lime; Rnd 8-10: Lemon; Rnd 11-13: Rose Shocking; Rnd 14: Aquamarine; Rnd 15 – skipped for sizing (would have been Aqua); Rnd 16: Silver Grey.
To block this post, I used the wet blocking method and a Chetnanigans BlocksAll Ultra blocking board.
