Bullion stitches are… not my fave. But these mock bullions are delightful! Definitely, do NOT be intimidated – there are lots of photos in the pattern to help! The result is worth it!
I came up a bit short of 12″, which is not unusual for me. So to get to 12″ I added an extra round of bpdc sts (extra rnd 1 below) and an extra round of sc (extra rnd 2)! But everyone’s gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go! Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
I used a Furls Odyssey hook and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1-2: Rose Shocking; Rnd 3-4: Lemon; Rnd 5: Radiant Lime; Rnd 6: Aquamarine; Rnd 7-10: Aqua; Rnd 11: Rose Shocking; Rnd 12: Lemon; Rnd 13-15: Radiant Lime; Extra Rnd 1 and 2: Aquamarine; Edging: Silver Grey.
