The Details
My Notes: This pattern is another interesting one! It has so much texture and interest, it's sure to look great in solids as well as up to 20 colors. Although it is visually complicated, the well-written instructions make it easier than it looks - just be sure to read all the notes and special stitches! I did carry my yarn along the back most of the time.

Sizing: My square was coming out just a bit big, so I worked Rnd 19 in sc instead of dc and I ended up at 12" after Rnd 20. But everyone's gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
What I Did: I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook, and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows:
Rnd 1-2: Tangerine
Rnd 3: Lettuce
Rnd 4: Tangerine
Rnd 5: Lettuce
Rnd 6: Tangerine
Rnd 7: Lettuce
Rnd 8: Tangerine
Rnd 9: Lettuce
Rnd 10: Celtic
Rnd 11-12: Lettuce
Rnd 13: Celtic
Rnd 14: Eggshell
Rnd 15: Celtic
Rnd 16: Lettuce
Rnd 17: Eggshell
Rnd 18: Lettuce
Rnd 19: Eggshell
Rnd 20: Lettuce
This square required a mild blocking. I used the wet blocking method, or you could use light steam.
