Planet Earth Square
by Jennifer Dickerson on Fiber Flux
Above is her square, made in her 4 colors. Below is my square, in my 4 colors!
My Notes: This square uses post stitches to create a ton of texture and interest! Four small motifs are joined using the JAYGO method, and then several rounds of edging are worked around the outside. I decided to make mine assembly-line style by crocheting all the Round 1s, then the Round 2s, etc. Be sure to watch the video tutorial for this square that Jennifer has made (embedded in the pattern)!

Sizing: My square was coming out a bit big, so I skipped Rnd 11. But everyone’s gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
What I Did: I used a Furls US-J, 6.0 mm hook, and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows:
This square required minimal blocking! I used the wet blocking method, or you could use light steam.
