I haven't used any of the scrubby yarns yet, so I really look forward to seeing and making maybe a dishcloth but definitely a couple of pot holders. In interested in making the octopus egg cozy as well!

Also, the date is wrong in your post. It says it ends on November 23rd at 12:15am. Figure you'd wanna fix that

      Thanks for the giveaway!

I would probably begin with the boring obvious- some kind of shower scrubbie- but then I really hope I would dig deep and let my imagination run wild. The texture of this yarn offers so many possibilities, one just needs to close those eyes and let the mind wander to where all that yummy texture could play well.

I'd make a few bath suites for presents, one in Royal - Caribbean - Waves, one in Zesty - Cherry, and one in Blissful - Neapolitan - Oatmeal. I could use all the leftovers together for my own bathroom - right now all I have is a themeless conglomeration of colorful discount store beach towels and bargain washcloths.

This would be my first go-round with scrubby yarn. I've been wanting to branch out a bit from the usual dish cloths and face cloths, so I'd like to design my own bath mitt pattern for seniors to use. I can donate them to the local senior living centers in our neighborhood. Thanks for the opportunity to play along, as well as all the pattern links!

Can the link to the 18 patterns be fixed? It brings up 38 hat and scarf patterns searched for by “red heat” (not red heart) and not the dishcloth, etc patterns shown in the pic on the blog. I tried to re-search and it still gives results for “red heat” and shows hats & scarves. 😕 I would like to make those 18 patterns!
