I *just* got my hands on my own 25mm Furls Seagrass Jumbo Resin Crochet Hook, and I instantly fell in love. I'd been holding onto some jumbo yarn and just waiting for the hook to arrive, so I jumped right into a new project this past weekend! (Coming to Moogly in November!)
This is a big hook, so it does have some heft to it. This is a solid piece made to last a lifetime! Here are the official stats from Furls:

As you can see, the colors in these hooks shift and swirl. So while they are all the Seagrass Colorway, each is unique!
Now that we're down into the post, let's talk rumors - specifically, the rumor that jumbo yarns have gotten so big and popular that the Craft Yarn Council is going to have to cap the "7" designation and add an "8"! (I have heard this from several sources but haven't gotten any dates yet!)
That makes a lot of sense to me - right now, 7 is too wide a range, calling for hooks anywhere from 15mm to 30mm. But what we can take from this right now, is that big, super thick yarns are here to stay - so it's time to expand your hook collection too!
