My Notes: Erin is well known for her mosaic masterpieces and classes, so it's no surprise we have a new mosaic square! This pattern features a simple repeat that's perfect for beginners and experienced crocheters looking for a relaxing make. It's super easy to adjust this one for size too - just stop when you get to 12"!
Helpful Links and Tutorials: Crochet Abbreviations, Magic Circle, Standing sc, BLO - Back Loop Only and FLO - Front Loop Only, and seamless join.
Sizing: Erin has written this pattern so that you simply stop repeating the last round when you get to 12" - for me, that was after 19 rnds! But everyone's gauge is different, so be sure to measure as you go! Learn how to adjust for size HERE to ensure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down, not diagonally/corner to corner.
Yarn Options: This year, our designers have chosen from a variety of yarns, including Brava Worsted, Swish Worsted, Jimmy Beans Wool Beanstalk, Berroco Vintage, and MadTosh Vintage. For this square, Erin and I both used Brava Worsted!
What I Did:
I used a US-J, 6.0 mm crochet hook, and Brava Worsted yarn, and my color scheme was as follows (see pics for more info on placement):
Rnd 1: Seashell
Rnd 2: Custard

This square didn't require much blocking to square, so I did a quick wet blocking.
