Cloudy days yes, as long as there is UV light! At night you'd need a lamp. But it's still a warm aran, just not being activated by UV at night. 🙂

The playoff poncho would definitely be my first choice for this Yarn. I love ruannas and ponchos and think that this would be perfect for me. But I think I make double up on the collar so I can roll it over.

Hello, I have some of the heat wave yarn, and would like to make headbands with it, but I'm worried about the warning that said not to expose it to high frequencies. Headbands are worn around the ears. Would a cell phone put off high frequencies? What would be considered high frequency?

Hi Angela! I asked Yarnspirations about this when it first debuted, and cell phone frequencies shouldn't be an issue. It's very rare, very high frequencies that might be an issue - nothing we'd normally encounter, as far as I understand. 🙂
