Inside Textured Huggable Amigurumi
"Make your amigurumi friends bigger, fluffier, and even more huggable!
With the textured stitches you'll learn in this book, you can create animals with even more personality and panache! Use twisted stitches to make Sally the Sheep's coiled fleece, crocodile stitches for Flapper the Owl's textured wings, loop stitches for Luke the Llama's fluffy coat, and more! By using bulky weight yarn and larger hooks, these lovable animals work up quickly and sit around 16 inches tall. They're the perfect size to become a child's favorite stuffed friend with plenty of opportunities for creative color choices to personalize each pattern.
Whether you're crocheting a forever friend for yourself, a child, or a new baby, these adorable animals are just right for cuddles!

Sally the Sheep features the Twisted Fringe Single Crochet - I've seen this done as a decorative edge on a blanket, but this is such a clever use of it! Then, with Luke the Llama and Percy the Penguin, you get to try the Loop Stitch.

Flapper the Owl uses the Crocodile Stitch as feathers - perfect! And Hatch the Hedgehog features simple chain loops to great effect. Finally, Gus the Goat brings a bunch of bobbles to the party!

There is a short stitch guide in the back, but this book is all about the patterns. The instructions are written out in standard US English format, and you'll find some great tips inside as well! I see lots of gifts being made from !
