Itty Bitty Amigurumi starts off with lots of helpful tips and tricks from the author, written in a very easy-to-read, conversational style. He has included info on using a variety of yarn weights to get different looks!
And one my favorite features is that there is not only a regular Table of Contents - always handy...
There's also a visual Table of Contents! So you can easily pick out which project you want to make next!
Most amigurumi projects stick to simple stitches, and a look at the abbreviations list shows that's the case here - with some special stitches for texture, like the loop stitch, picots, and bobbles!
Zac has included a stitch dictionary with photo tutorials of the stitches, including the basic stitches, so this is a good book for beginners too!
The patterns themselves are written in the simplified amigurumi format, in US terms, so it helps to have some familiarity with reading patterns before you start on this book. Here's a little snippet so you can see what I mean:
Since these patterns are seamless, there are not a lot of pics to help with each pattern - they're just a few rounds of stitching and done! That said, each includes a QR code for another look, and there is a sprinkling of video tutorials in there when needed.
