Block #12:
Blooming Bobbles Square
by Stitches n Scraps

Above you can see the square that Pia made, featuring up to 4 colors. Below is my CAL square, in my 3 colors! (I'm doing a stash buster, so these colors will change throughout the year. This is my final Lettuce one as I work through the rainbow!)

My Notes: The Blooming Bobbles Square features a fun mix of stitches, and the end result is so pretty! I did have to add a couple of rounds for size, and I've included that info below. This pattern is easy to follow, and she's provided lots of help, including a chart!
Helpful Links and Tutorials: Magic Circle, Bobble, Post Stitches, Treble Crochet, BLO (Back Loop Only), Sc2tog Decrease, Chainless Starting Double Crochet, and seamless join.
Sizing: My square only got to 10.5" as written, so I added a couple of rounds that repeated Round 11. But everyone's gauge is different so be sure to measure as you go! Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
What I Did:
I used a Susan Bates US-J, 6.0 mm Twist and Lock hook, and Red Heart With Love, and my color scheme was as follows (see pics for more info on placement):
Rnd 1: White
Rnd 2: Lettuce
Rnd 3: White
Rnd 4: Lettuce
Rnd 5: White
Rnds 6 and 7: Lettuce
Rnds 8 - 10: Light Gray
Rnd 11: White
Rnd 12 (added): Lettuce
Rnd 13 (added): White
This square required a mild blocking. I used the wet blocking method.
