    Home Clean Home Dishcloth

    Published: Mar 24, 2017 · Modified: May 17, 2023 by Tamara Kelly · 8 Comments

It's like a childhood tradition - pictures of the family home, drawn simply, usually with the stick figure family out front. Those homey, happy little drawings are the inspiration for the Home Clean Home Dishcloth!

The Home Clean Home Dishcloth is almost all double crochets, and perfect for personalizing - pick the colors that reflect your own house, or use the same colors shown here. No, I don't have a red house, but I do love the way it pops on this cloth! (It's also a fantastic stash buster!)

The key to making the Home Clean Home Dishcloth is the color changes - be sure to check the links below for my tutorial. You'll also need small "bobbins" of yarn - mini skeins or balls so you can work the different sections of each row without having to cover the unused colors with stitches or carrying them along the back.  To make these bobbins, you can use tools like those linked below, or wind the lengths into tiny center pull balls. Or just wrap them around a small square of cardboard!

This is not print friendly when it prints adds over the top of the pattern. Do you know this is happening?

Hi Lainie! No, whenever I use the green Print Friendly button most of the ads go away, and I'm able to click on any remaining to take them off the print/download as well. Are you using the green button, or opening another tab to PrintFriendly.com?

I hope it works! 🙂 Failing that, there's the Clean Print add on for Chrome, or good ole cut and paste to a Doc. 🙂

I love Moogley. I have all the patterns for the Afghan from 2016 and as soon as I finish a project that I have going I am going to start on making that Afghan. Can't wait but have to finish the other project first.
