Featuring the Spring-Ready Colors of Lily Sugar’n Cream
There’s just something about spring that makes me want to pull out the Lily Sugar’n Cream! This 100% cotton yarn is wonderful for so many seasonal projects, and it comes in dozens of colors. I used the solids here, but there are all sorts of stripes, variegateds, and more to explore – and each will give the Bunny Ears Soap Sack its own look!
In Two Sizes – for Super Sized Fun!
I designed two versions of the Bunny Ears Soap Sack, so you can make it to fit both your standard size bar soaps and all those little hotel soaps! The ears slip through the top opening to keep the soap inside, and the bunny ears are perfect for hanging the sack when bath time is done.
Don’t think they’ll be excited about soap in their Easter basket? Fill these little pouches with treats first – soap later. And the hotel soap size isn’t just for small treats or the novelty of it – with this grippy soap sack, little ones can start learning about self-care with tools sized just right for them.

Notes:Â
Use a stitch marker in the first stitch of every round to help you keep your place.
Note that this pattern starts with one row, and then switches to rounds. Some rounds begin with a ch 1 and others do not – this is intentional.
Rather than joining the mesh rounds with a sl st, they are joined with a dc in the first st. This puts the hook in the correct position to begin the next round without needing to slip stitch into the next ch sp. This dc counts as one of the 8 loops.

I love your tutorials! I have a pattern that I found on youtube that only plays music there’s no talking and I’m a auditory/visual learner. I was wondering if I sent you a screen shot of the pattern you could maybe do a tutorial on it?
Thanks for your time & I hope you can help

Hi LeeAnn! Thank you so much! Unfortunately, that would violate the designer’s copyright. If there’s a particular bit you need help with, please email me at tamarakelly@mooglyblog.com and I’ll see if I can help! ♥

This is an adorable idea for a soap saver. It’s always good to find a new way to use up those little slivers of soap that get too small. A great idea for kids for bath time too! Thanks for sharing the pattern.
