If you aren't familiar with CoCo Crochet Lee, you should be!

"Lee Sartori is the crochet designer behind CoCo Crochet Lee. Lee’s passion is designing modern, wearable garments, and adorable amigurumi. Lee lives in Halifax, Canada with her two children Noël and Conan, her amazing husband Sean, her adorable bunny Neville, and two cats Ginny, and Toast. You can find her work on her blog and on social media, where she posts fun, and whimsical takes on crochet. " Most recently, we reviewed her other new book, Minecraft: The Official Crochet Book. I have to admit, I'm not overly familiar with Avatar: The Last Airbender - just what I've picked up by being the mom of young adults. But I do know crochet!

Worsted weight yarn is used throughout, but there are a variety of hook sizes used to create different effects. Close up photos are included with each pattern, but not step by step assembly photos.

The amigurumi average around 12" tall, with the shortest at 4" and the Ran and Shaw dragons measuring 20" long!

The patterns are written in standard US format for each technique, rather than abbreviated as some amigurumi patterns are.

For notions, you'll find patterns using safety eyes, felt, wire, and even plastic canvas! And of course, you'll want to have lots of stuffing.

The patterns in Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Official Book of Amigurumi are genuinely impressive. The characters have been so faithfully recreated in stitches - the crochet is strong with this one. 😘
