Part of the 2026 Scarf of the Month Club

The Scarf of the Month Club is hosted by Oombawka Design and The Stitchin Mommy! Each month in 2026, three free scarf patterns will be shared on their blogs and one guest designer's blog, as part of this crochet-along. Then the following week, a hat from each as well, for the Hat of the Month Club. This month, it's Moogly!
This is a relaxed, flexible CAL — join in when you can, make what you love, and crochet along at your own pace. This month, be sure to get the Simple Stitch Scarf on Oombawka Design, and the Calm Serenity Cowl on The Stitchin Mommy!

Why You’ll Love the Ridgeline Stripes Crochet Cowl
The Ridgeline Stripes Crochet Cowl is a PULAD pattern - where we have multiple active loops going all at once! Crocheted in gorgeous Katia Merino Baby yarn, the shifting shades of green and purple create beautiful stripes and change every row. This yarn is bouncy with great stitch definition, but you can swap it out if you have a wool allergy. The textured ridges add plenty of visual and tactile interest, and the self-bordering design means there are no extra edging rounds to fuss with when you're done.

It's worked in a way that keeps things interesting as you crochet, and when it's time to finish, you get to choose between two different finishing options for a look that's all your own. Whether you prefer a classic circular cowl or the bandana style I went with, you can customize the final result to suit your style.
