Hookin On Hump Day #72: Link Party for the Fiber Arts!

Published: Jun 3, 2014 by Tamara Kelly · 13 Comments

It's an international round of Hookin On Hump Day this time! We've got THREE patterns from Germany and one from Spain - so amazing to think this little link party has taken the whole world be storm! And I am so lucky to be co-hosting it with Sara of My Merry Messy Life! This link party runs on both My Merry Messy Life and Moogly - remember that an entry on one site shows up on both - and we both promote the featured projects on Facebook, G+, Pinterest, and more. And we do love to promote you all! It's one party with double the exposure for everyone who wants to share their best crochet, knitting, felting, and sewing projects! Here are the featured projects from the latest round of HOHD!

Hookin On Hump Day #72! Get these fab patterns and add your own links to the best fiber arts link party around! ♥

Click on the names of the patterns you like to go to their pattern pages!

    1. MOST CLICKED! Sea Song Crochet Blanket by Felted Button - one of the most unique blanket patterns I've seen! Pattern available for purchase.
    2. A "Pengu" Comforter for Babies (Ein "Pengu"-Schnuffeltuch für Babies) by Crochet Around the World - such a cute lovey blanket that links to a FREE pattern!
    3. Flittering Butterflies Crochet Wreath (in English and German!) by Crochetier - such a simple, yet beautiful wreath! FREE pattern!
    4. Mini Mandalas by My World of Colour - links to a FREE pattern (and another pattern from a German blogger!)
    5. Um X Para Sevilha - A SHAWL TO SEVILLA by Ana Love Craft - a gorgeous Flamenco shawl and a story about travelling to Sevilla with it!

Amazing crochet - thank you all for linking up! Don't forget to grab your I’ve Been Featured button and show off. I’ll be pinning you on my Pinterest Board and featuring you on Facebook and Google+, as will My Merry Messy Life!

Now onto this week’s party! Here are a few simple rules:

    • Please link your post back to one of the hostesses – Moogly or My Merry Messy Life, or grab the Hookin on Hump Day party button here. Without a button on your site or link back on your post, we will not be able to feature it the following week. We have had to pass over many people before because there was no button or link!
    • I’d also really appreciate if you’d follow me on one of my social media links (see the icons at the top left of the page), and I will happily follow back (just leave me a comment that you’re following me from here, and include a link to your own page)!
    • Please visit at least one other link and leave a comment on their post so we can really support each other!
    • Please remember to link to your actual project URL and not your homepage URL, and use the name of your project or post, not your own name.
    • Please, no Etsy stores, Facebook pages, giveaways, non-fiber arts posts or other link parties. Just blog posts to your actual projects.
I can't wait to see what you've made now! You don’t have to be a designer or a big name blog to join this link party – all you need is to have a post about a fiber arts project you did that you’d like to show off! Remember, this party is in RANDOM order, so there’s no such thing as being late.

Love these, as always! Tamara, do you think the terminology for the Flittering Butterflies is US or UK? I left a note on the designer's website, but I'm interested in your take. Thanks for all that you share with us!

Thank you Leslie! Great question! I believe it is likely UK, so for dc make sc and for tr make dc. 🙂

Just got a reply from Crochetier - she does use US terms for her patterns, in case anyone else is wondering. 🙂 Thanks for the input!
