The Chainless Starting Double Crochet (and other Chainless Starting stitches) is one of my favorite techniques for avoiding the dreaded chain 3 double crochet substitute. And while I’ve demoed how to work it into a magic circle, and how to start a row with it… I’ve never demo’ed how to use the Chainless Starting stitch as the very first stitch of Row 1, after only making your chains. It’s time to fix that!

Sharon K Lozano
Hi! If I’m not mistaken (I could be) several weeks ago you had a giveaway which had a set of Susan Bates Tunisan hooks. Just 3 of larger ones like J.K and L. I have looked everywhere for those and cannot find them. Could you please tell me where to find them? I’m almost 76 , My goal this year was to learn Tunisan and the year is half over. Would you help me please? Thank you. Sharon
