It's So Fluffy!
These days decor seems to be all about texture, and that's what inspired the Fluffy Diamond Pillow! I used a few different things to pump up the fluff. Bernat Blanket and Sheepy both pull their weight here, but I think the pillow form is also key!
And it's not about getting a pricey pillow, or what it's filled with. That's up to you - everyone has their preferences for down, polyester, foam, etc. But when I make this sort of pillow, I try to always purchase a pillow form that is one size bigger than the crochet outer (this one is smaller inside than out too). This creates max squish! But if you prefer a thinner pillow, you may prefer a 16" pillow form instead.
Because it's made with big thick yarns, this pillow works up super fast. Great for last-minute prep for that holiday party, or to give as a gift!

Create Your Perfect Combo
I went with a tone-on-tone look for my Fluffy Diamond Pillow, but you can mix and match to your heart's content! I think the pink Sheepy would look so sweet in this design!
And you can play with the "fluffiness" too! I added Bernat Sheepy to every post stitch on my pillow, but you could choose to go only with one diagonal, or even highlight squares! Or what about one big fuzzy diamond in the middle? It's up to you!

I like the idea of adding the furry yarn after, and can then be added in so many different patterns.
