Grab the deepest, darkest Bernat Blanket!

I don't often crochet with black yarn, but Bernat Blanket makes it so much easier! The big fluffy stitches and a nice bright light will see you through. I'm so glad I decided to use this yarn when I started the Squish series! It turns these oversize amigurumi into easy, quick projects - I made this one in under 10 hours. The microbead pillow ball inside is my favorite stuffing, but feel free to use fiber fill, scrap yarn, or whatever you like!

Cute and Cuddly for Kids and Adults

This crochet bat pillow is fun to make - and pet and squeeze! I used safety eyes, but this pattern has not been tested for safety for children under 3 years of age. If you are crocheting it for a baby or toddler, you may wish to embroider on the eyes and make sure that the pieces are sewn on quite securely. If using it as a photo prop, be sure not to leave the toy with a baby unattended.

My granddaughter would definitely love this. Though I have several projects going I may have to set them aside, pull out my black yarn and go at it.
