The Ergo Hooks Set had caught my eye before... and I finally got a chance to try them out! Better yet, I get to give sets away - to FIVE lucky winners!
First of all, I have to say I love this case! Bright, colorful, a fun shape, and it's tough too - no worries that this will fall apart on me.
More importantly though, the hooks are really nice! The shaft, throat, and lip are all nice and smooth metal, and the rubbery color coded handles have a nice grip. There's a flat spot for the thumb, for those who grip their hooks overhand or knife hold - but it's not so flat that it's an impediment for underhand or pencil hold either.
The sizes for each are printed right on the handle, near the base. And this is where the Ergo Hooks are a little different. Rather than following the standard US sizes, Ergo Hooks come in 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, and 6mm. Some of these are the same as US sizes, but they are also the sizes you'll find in many UK/Canadian and Japanese patterns and designs. So by adding a set of Ergo Crochet Hooks to your collection, you'll be all set for patterns from all over the world!
I really prefer using my Ergo hooks as opposed to metal hooks - the letters on metal hooks always end up irritating my fingertips, and the thin handles can lead to hand strain. The Ergos were fun to use - I made the Lazy Summer Kerchief using the 5mm Ergo hook, and it was fun and easy to use!
If you're looking for a set of ergonomic crochet hooks, or you enjoy making UK/Japanese patterns, then the Ergo Crochet Hooks are a great set to get! They are available on Amazon US (affiliate link), and they have a website as well - and 5 lucky winners will each win a set here on Moogly!
The Ergo Crochet Hooks giveaway is open to US shipping addresses only (including Puerto Rico and US Territories), and prizes will be sent via Amazon.com. The giveaway ends 6/29/15. Only the email address entry is mandatory - all other options are for bonus entries only. If you are having trouble on mobile, please try again on a computer. If the rafflecopter widget doesn't load, please refresh the page. And lastly, please help spread the word about this fantastic giveaway!
Good luck everybody! Get Moogly on your favorite social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Instagram, and Tumblr, and sign up for the FREE Newsletter so you don’t miss a thing!

These hooks would be very helpful for my hands.
I crochet so much so charity. I also teach many people how to crochet. Most of them I donate my hooks and yarn too. I recently started teaching a young lady that is in remission from her third bout with cancer. Her OT told her crochet would help with her neuropathy in her hands. Thank you for your give away..

I would really love to win these. As someone that suffers from Carpal Tunnel in both wrists as well as tendonitis in both thumbs - using normal (which is all I own) crochet hooks severely limits the amount of work I can do on any given project. With these hooks I feel I could work longer and be more productive with my projects.
