Author Dora Ohrenstein is quite literally the first "famous crocheter" I recognized the first time I walked into a crochet conference! She's been designing for years, and her books are a reference for many designers. Here's her author blurb:

The Tunisian Crochet Sweater Collection starts off with a short but informative introduction section that will set you up for success. Here you can learn the basics of Tunisian crochet, increasing and decreasing, and all the technical details that set Tunisian apart.
There is also a section on getting the right fit and choosing the size to make - super helpful, especially with closer fits as shown in this book! The finishing section is very in depth and informative for anyone new to garment making.
Finally, we get to the patterns! Here you'll find tanks, vests, pullovers, cardigans, cap sleeve tops, and matching sets. Each is unique, but with basic shapes you'll want to repeat in new colors and yarns for a closet full of options!
The only thing I didn't love about this book is the size range. Each of the patterns includes 5 sizes, which roughly correspond to sizes Small, Medium, Large, 1X to 2X. I would've liked to see some larger sizes included. However, the schematics for each design will help more experienced crocheters customize their finished items. It's a lovely collection for anyone who fits that size range!

Not quite for every shape then. I am very busty with a narrow back, my friend is petite with a flat chest; unless this book contains details of how to adjust the patterns for individual fit, the title is disingenuous.
