I want to make this hat;however, I do not know what a size 1.6mm hook is. That seems extremely small to be using on yarn. I am not a novice crocheter. My guess would be to use at least an I hook.

Hi Juanita! I'm not sure if there's a typo somewhere, but you should use a 6mm hook for this hat. 🙂
