This September I’ll be flying to New York to attend the In The Mkng Festival – and I hope to see you there! Here’s what you can look forward to – and where you can learn more!
Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by In The Mkng and the Association for Creative Industries.
In The Mkng is “a new festival celebrating creativity, imagination and inspiration taking place September 29-30, 2018 from 10am to 6pm each day at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts in Bethel, New York.”
They are expecting 150 vendors, and there will be tons of opportunities for DIY, crafty, hands-on, family-friendly experiences. Over these two days, there will be live craft demos, interactive activities, and craft vendors.
And there are workshops you can sign up to take at the festival too! Knitting, beading, and embroidery are all on offer – the embroidery one, in particular, caught my eye.
I’ll be there with Red Heart Yarns and my friend (and their National Spokesperson!) Marly Bird – and we’re planning some super fun activities and demos to share! But those are still top secret! I’m also excited to see what Michaels, LoveKnitting, Happy Crafters, and Mood bring – you can see the list of vendors and sponsors here!
In addition to the make-n-takes and meet-n-greets, there will be celebrity YouTubers and Instagrammers broadcasting live from the event, a kids pavilion with child-friendly crafts, pet adoptions, and live music – Sister Hazel is headlining! And there’s even going to be “delicious festival eats and the region’s craft beer and wine” – I can’t wait!
Tickets are on sale now, with discounts for kids and families – and kids 2 and younger are free! And when you CLICK HERE to buy your tickets, be sure to use my VIP Promo Code for an even better deal: EXMKNG25 There are also opportunities to volunteer, and earn free tickets!

I’m super excited to show off some new Red Heart Yarns products while I’m there – and to see all the other amazing crafts and vendors! I hope to see you there – if you see me, be sure to stop and say hi and get a hug (hugs optional)!
