I've talked before about how much I love cotton yarns - and the only way to make them even better is to add some acrylic in there for strength and durability! Red Heart It's A Wrap Rainbow is just such a yarn - and it combines these glorious fibers into a drapey, summer yarn you won't want to even try to resist. This month I'm taking a closer look at It's a Wrap Rainbow in the Yarn Love yarn review (and more) on Moogly!

That yarn looks beautiful. Would make a lovely shawl and I have several patterns that it would look beautiful. Oh that means I have to go to the store. What a shame. ^ -^

I discovered this yarn at our Michael’s last week and I wonder if it could work up well into a market bag?
Tamara Kelly
I think it would make an amazing market bag!

I saw some at Michael's ...they had it with the crochet thread...because it's the size of #10 thread. I am a #10 doily maker so I better get me some.

Nice! Mine just has the It's A Wrap, not the Rainbow - but in the same place. I hope they carry more of it soon - it's sort of hidden where it is, at least in mine.

Love this yarn for summer wear. I made a summer shawl and the gradation of colours is one of the best out there. Just lovely. Would recommend.

This looks like a lovely yarn! Do you think its soft enough to use in shawls for elderly folks? Sometimes cotton can be rough.
Tamara Kelly
Yes, it is very very smooth! 🙂

I'm using the Foggy colorway for a summer top (#summertopCAL) - I love the way this yarn works up - the stitch definition is great with the size G/4.00mm hook I'm using. Thank you for this review. Your garment is lovely!
