What is this, you ask? Well, let me tell you, it’s big news, and I’m super excited to finally tell you all about it!
I’ve been linking up to Hookin On Hump Day on My Merry Messy Life for several months now, and it’s been a great way to see other crafter’s work and to show them all what’s happening here on Moogly. It’s been a lot of fun too! So when Sara from My Merry Messy Life asked me to become co-hostess for Hookin On Hump Day, you better believe I said yes! Together we will pick the favorites, comment on your entries and promote the party. You don’t have to be a designer or a big name blog to join – all you need is to have a post about a project you did that you’d like to show off! You don’t have to enter at both blogs either – an entry on one shows up on both! Twice the exposure!
Sara picked the featured posts from last week, and I’ll be helping her pick from the ones you all post this week!
#1 – Most Clicked Link was Crochet Rose Heart Wreath by Kara of Petals to Picots
Isn’t this beautiful? Kara offers a free crochet pattern for the rose, and all you have to do is whip up a bunch of them and hot-glue them onto a piece of cardboard!

#2 – Let’s Twirl Blanket and Rug TA-DAH by Susan of Felted Button
-
#3 – Sweetest Baby Blanket by Tamara of Moogly Blog – free crochet pattern!
-
#4 –Terminados by Bruno
-
#5 – Not ANOTHER Owl Hat! by Oombawka Design – free crochet pattern!
Great job everyone! Now go grab your I’ve Been Featured button and relish in the spotlight. I’ll be pinning you on my Pinterest Board and sometimes featuring you on Facebook and Google+, as will My Merry Messy Life!
Now onto this week’s party! Here are a few simple rules:
- Please link your post back to one of the hostesses – My Merry Messy Life or Moogly or grab the party button here. I’d also really appreciate if you’d follow me on one of my social media links (see the icons at the top left of the page), and I will happily follow back (just leave me a comment that you’re following me from here)!
- Please visit at least one other link and leave a comment on their post so we can really support each other! No linking and running allowed!
- Please remember to link to your actual project URL and not your homepage URL.
- Please, no Etsy stores or other link parties. Just blog posts to your actual projects.
New to the party? To receive reminder emails each week about the party, enter your email here. Otherwise, I won’t pester you if you’d rather not receive a reminder!

Rachel
Hi! I’m so glad you’re doing a linky. Just fyi, I did a pair of your stripey fingerless mitts for my daughter. 🙂 I am not an experienced crocheter, so I had trouble with the post thing. I adapted it to make it easier for myself, but your pattern is so cute and my DD loves her mitts! My name is Rachel; I linked up the “granny stripes.” The mitts are also in that post. 🙂

I’m so glad she does Rachel! And remember, adapting patterns is a talent – so I’m sure you’ll be an experienced crocheter very soon!
Jazz
Thank you so much for including my Olivia! I’ll stop by onfriday to show this week’s FO.
Have a great day!

Barbara, you do not need to comment, but thank you! 😀 If you’d like to leave yours I’d love to follow you back!
