This year, for the first time ever, none of my kids want to go trick or treating. They are just too old, at least in their opinions! But that doesn't mean they are done with the holiday - and I got a request from my youngest to up our decor game a bit!
So I looked to see what projects are included in Cricut Access, and realized I had everything on hand to make the Beware Halloween Banner!
Of course, my supply list was a little different - in addition to my Cricut Maker, I used white, black, and orange cardstock that I had on hand, Duck Tape, Tombow Adhesive (glue), and Red Heart Pomp-a-doodle!
I didn't alter the cuts on the Cricut at all - just made each mat as directed.
I have found that when I work with light cardstock I prefer to use the blue Light Stick mats - they are strong enough to hold the paper well without being too strong and ripping it when it comes off!
After gluing the paper banner flags together (so quick!), I used the tape to attach each banner flag, alternating with the paper spiders, to the Pomp-a-doodle.
Et voila! This project came together in literally minutes - I even used the Fast Cut option on the Cricut! We hung it in our entryway to add to the spooky!
Red Heart Pomp-a-doodle made this Cricut Craft super Quick - and easy! I hope you'll use this idea to upgrade your own party decor - this idea works well for banners for any occasion - Halloween, Christmas, Birthdays, Baby Showers, you name it! There are lots of colors to choose from, and with the Cricut Maker you can get super creative!
