Originally Part of the Stashbusting Quickies Collection
This pattern was originally published in 2021, as part of a collection of holiday-themed patterns that I created with my friend and fellow designer Marly Bird! This collection is no longer available, so after polling the Moogly Community Group, we're now sharing it right here on the blog for free!

Why Youβll Love the Polar Bearskin Mug Rug
One of my favorite things about the Polar Bearskin Mug Rug is how much personality it has for such a quick project! Made with super fuzzy Bernat Pipsqueak, it has the perfect texture to really bring the "bearskin" look to life - while staying completely vegan and animal-friendly, of course! At just about 25 yards, it's a fantastic stash buster, and small enough to crochet year-round, no matter the actual season.
Because it works up so quickly, it's easy to make a whole set for holiday entertaining or to tuck into gift baskets, stockings, or stack up for teacher gifts or craft fairs. It's a fun conversation starter, a practical coaster that helps protect your table, and a lighthearted "luxury" addition to your dΓ©cor that's sure to put a smile on your face!
