I don't see instructions about blanket stitches...how many and how far apart? Thank you.

Hi Merren! You're right, that's a tutorial I'm missing! I'll have to make sure we create one in the new year!

I have a question concerning the Fa La La Towel Topper. Am I missing something? I was reading through the pattern. I feel something is missing or I'm not interpretting the directions. The pattern starts as follows: "Begin Topper - Row 1: With yarn held doubled and RS of towel facing, join with sc in first horizontal bar of blanket stitch, ch 1, skip next bar, *sc in next bar, ch 1, skip next bar; repeat from * to last bar, ch 1, sc in last bar, turn (15 sts)" This is what I find confusing. How do I join this to the towel. Where is the first horizontal bar of blanket stitch? I've been crocheting for many years and this just has me baffled. I would appreciate your help with this issue. PS - I tried sending this request on Dec 23 2025. Have not received as response. Thank you for your help
