The Patons Crochet Plant Hanger features textured stitches that create that boho, macrame look – but it’s all crochet! I had fun designing this free pattern for Yarnspirations – and there are video tutorials too!

Patons Hempster
The Patons Crochet Plant Hanger is made with Patons Hempster yarn. You can read my review of Patons Hempster, and see the Patons Crochet Plant Hanger up close on Yarnspirations now! And I included some interesting hemp yarn facts too!
Hang It – Or Don’t!
The pattern for the Patons Crochet Plant Hanger uses one of my favorite crochet cable stitches to create these lovely diamonds. And of course, there are each chain straps to hang your favorite plant with!
But you don’t have to hang it – just leave off the straps and hanging loops and you can make a pretty plant pot cozy instead!
Video Tutorial Included

And here’s the lefty version!

I just came across your pattern on Pinterest. Both my daughters have found their love for plants. Would like to surprise them with a few of these lovely plant pot hangers.
Does it require 1 whole skein of the Hempster yarn for one cover, or can you get two out of 1 skein?
Tamara Kelly
Unfortunately I’m not 100% sure anymore – I’d like to think you can get 2 but I can’t guarantee it, I’m sorry!
