Featuring Bernat Blanket O’Go – or Any Blanket!
To make the Luxe Loops Slippers, I used some Bernat Blanket O’Go – the bits leftover from making the Luxe Loops Headband! This creates a great gift set that’s easy to customize with colors and even as stash busters!
Two Great Yarns Getting Cozy Together
The Luxe Loops Slippers don’t just feature Bernat Blanket O’Go, as you can see by the cuffs! That’s Bernat Sheepy, a gorgeous sherpa-feel and look yarn that pairs perfectly with Blanket!
I used the same looping braid method as in the headband on the feet, but the ankle cuffs needed to be extra warm and cozy, and Sheepy was just right. These last few rounds of the slippers are worked in simple double crochet in the round, making using this highly textured yarn as easy as possible.
These slippers are ultra-plush and cozy – and quick to whip up too! To take them to the next level, you can add a non-slip grip with any of these great ideas!

I like this pattern. How do you recommend weaving in ends with this yarn to ensure the ends don’t come loose?
Tamara Kelly
Hi Rose! A long tail helps, and for the Sheepy, the texture of the yarn itself makes it quite grippy. For the Blanket, if you are worried about ends you can sew them down with a bit of matching thread! 🙂
