Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball is one of my favorite yarns - for shawls, and other projects! I've designed quite a few patterns in it, and it's quickly becoming a go-to yarn for other designers as well. So let's give some away as we enter the dog days of summer!
Disclaimer: This giveaway was sponsored by Lion Brand.
Have you used Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball before? Each skein has about 481 yards of yarn, meaning it's perfect for 1-2 skein projects! I've designed several patterns with it - in addition to the most recent two - the Tango Shawl and the Opal Arrows Infinity Scarf - there's the Lotus Blossom Shawl; Amelia Shawl, Amara Shawl, and Winged Wrap.
Both the regular Shawl in a Ball and the metallics are so pretty - and each one is just a little different! So let's give 5 balls of it away - enough to make several projects!
The Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball August Giveaway is open to US and Canada addresses only (void where prohibited), and ends 8/28/17 at 12:15am Central US time. So wonderful that we get to choose 5 colors! It's always so hard to impossible to choose just one, especially if you knit for people with very different tastes. This way I could please several friends - and myself.

I have purchased quite a few skeins of Shawl in a Ball. Although it says it is a #4 yarn, I would say it is more of a #3. My shawls, ponchos, and scarves turn out so very light and elegant with this yarn. I love it. My favorite is the metallic thread in Om Opal, but all are so beautiful. I sell my work and these are very popular.
