June Brandon says
Hello, I loved this pattern as it was my first time for working with cables. There are two things that I wanted to pass on that I discovered in working the pattern instructions (written and video):
(1) For someone who never worked with crochet cables before (and was strictly working from the pattern instructions at first), I wasn't aware (until I watched the video) that I had to skip stitches when completing cable post stitches to maintain the row stitch count. (Add to instructions?)
(2) Section 4 (top and front flap) Row 6 instructions reference "...working behind the last 2 post sts...". I had no idea what that meant and the video did not illustrate how to do that stitch. The video only mentions that the viewer would have learned, at that point, everything to complete the bag (which was not the case). Luckily, I found a 10 year old YouTube video that did illustrate how to complete the stitch. (reference another tuturiol video in the instructions?) The Moogly video was very good illustrating the other cable stitches.
Thank you very much for providing the free patterns/videos. I very much enjoy them.
