The possibilities are endless with this yarn and choosing only one thing to do would be incredibly hard for me. I usually just let the colors speak to me and then pick the best project for it. Since I do both knit and crochet, my fingers are just itching to get some no matter what. So squishy!

Believe it or not, I started teaching myself how to crochet in August, 2020 using Bernat Maker yarn. I actually made a sweater for my Furbaby using a free Yarnspirations pattern, and I specifically chose the Bernat Maker yarn because it doesn't split ~ at all!! Fast forward to today, I have two more furbabies to crochet for AND ... maybe the sweaters will actually FIT this time around, since I have a better grasp on how to crochet.

I usually crochet when I'm at work, it helps me to focus. I don't understand patterns and I can't watch videos at work, so I've be winging it for about 5 years now. I've learned recently how to make my favorite type of hat, and I'm honestly going to make more now that I know how. I want to practice as much as I can to keep improving : )

I haven't tried Bernat Maker or any similar yarn yet. I've been wanting to. Had it in my cart more than once. So far, when I have to make my purchase fit my budget, the Bernat Maker hasn't made the final cut. I think I need to decide on a 1 color, 1 skein project so I can finally get this yarn on my hook!

Well first, I've got to say that the photo of your box and the color thumbnails from Yarnspirations don't really match up, so I hope your photo is more accurate! The colors look so much more alive in it. The blue on the right end of the middle row is fabulous. I'd love to have a couple cushions in that color.

I make these as a comfort for donor families through Gift of Life, that is people who have lost a loved one, but honored them through donations of vital organs and tissue.
