Whether you believe in astrology or not, knowing your sign can be a lot of fun! And a zodiac applique can be a great addition to a newborn's baby blanket too - or a hat, sweater, tote bag, or whatever you like! So in 2016 I'm creating crochet zodiac appliques - 3 at a time! Here's the first set: Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces!
Disclaimer: This post includes affiliate links.
When all the appliques are done, I'm going to stitch them to some 6" solid granny squares - and add them with a new (on it's way!) 6" square pattern that I'll share here on the blog... and have a zodiac baby blanket! I hope you enjoy all the patterns!

SoffIty
Love your site, thanks. I'm trying to make Capricorn but getting confused with the 90° turn. Do you mean to rotate clockwise keeping the same side up. I've tried four times and my goat looks like a very bad splodge with no neck at all. Also when you sc around for round 10 do you stop just before the ear or go around the ear. You say to join to first st of round but in mine the ear is in the way. Please help.
Tamara Kelly
Hi Soffity! Thank you!
Yes, you spin it rather than flip it. 🙂
Round 10 includes the making of the ear - you stop sc-ing around when you get to the first sc you made in that round.

I'm afraid I probably won't be able to make videos for these, but if you go to the Crochet Abbreviations page that should help!
