Grab your favorite shades of Bernat Blanket Perfect Phasing

One of the rules for the Holiday Stashdown is that we could only use 1 skein of yarn (or less than 100 yards). And that seems like the perfect opportunity to try out Bernat Blanket Perfect Phasing! Each cake of this chenille yarn is carefully constructed to ensure a seamless transition from one shade to another - amazing!

One cake of this fab yarn will make you a fun and fluffy bag perfect for making, gifting, and wearing to explore your local shops this season! There is even a bit left over for yet another stash-busting opportunity. I really loved using Bernat Blanket Perfect Phasing for this free crochet pattern!

Prefer a solid color look? One skein of standard Bernat Blanket should do it.  Prefer more color variety? Grab all your leftover bits of Bernat Blanket and mix and match! No matter your color, your 8mm crochet hook and stitch markers are the only crochet tools you need. (Do scissors and a yarn needle count - them too!)

    Prefer a Bigger "Squares" Bag?

There are patterns out there calling for more - or fewer - squares to make up a bag. This crochet bag uses 17 squares, but I've seen bags using anywhere from 10 to 32! There is enough yarn left over to make about 8-10 more squares, if you'd like to follow a different plan for joining. Just be sure to leave enough to make the handle of your choice! And remember, the Snowflake Dangle is completely optional, so you can leave it off or add something else to personalize it just for you!Winter Market Bag - Moogly
