I know it doesn't sound possible... but I have too much yarn! So I'm going to give some away!

What will you get? It's a mystery! I can tell you that you will get as many full skeins as I can squish into a Priority Mail Flat Rate Box!

I do have a dog, and though he generally isn't allowed into my craft area AND he doesn't shed, if you have a severe dog allergy, it could possibly maybe be a problem. This is really the most yarn he's touched in a long time, but well, better safe than sorry...

Because shipping from the US is bizarrely expensive right now, and this is coming out of my own pocket, I can only ship this one within the USA. (If I could restructure the postal system... well I probably wouldn't be blogging, heh.)
Mostly, it's a fun way for me to clean off a couple shelves and make one lucky person very happy. So good luck all!

What to do with it, what to do???
Jessica says
I'm crying right now 😭 Not only do we have no decent yarn stores here in Australia, we miss out on all the good giveaways too 😭😭 it'd be great to get the chance to see some of the yarn you regularly use! Postage is so ridiculous though, I really don't blame you for not shipping worldwide. Just devo that I can't enter...
Tamara Kelly says
🙁 I'm sorry! Hopefully I'll get a couple more international giveaways going soon!
Audrey says
Why not suggest that the international winner would agree to paying the postage?
Tamara Kelly says
Maybe next time! 🙂
Jessica says
I looked at postage from Canada, not the us, but itll cost at least $150 for a parcel that size (I'm assuming it'll fit over 1kg/2pounds yarn). I'm really don't blame Tamara for not wanting to pay that much for shipping!
On a side note I know I'd love to see what you managed to fit in the parcel Tamara!
Tamara Kelly says
It was almost 4 lbs - I really packed it in! 🙂 No pictures unless the winner wants to share though.

I loved loved making the Eloise sweater for my niece. People compliment my niece when she wears it. When I am with her, I always make it a point to share that it is Tamara Kelly's Eloise sweater, especially if they are crocheters and knitters like me.

What a lovely problem to have! And lovely of you to share, too! No problem with dog allergies (I had Malamutes; you wear tweed year-round because of those big hairy pups!) and I live in the US - win-win! Ha!
What would you do with a large stash of yarn in 1970's colors, all pale? Even Goodwill didn't want it!
Tamara Kelly says
Hi Ginger! Great question! I would call up your local nursing homes and schools as well as women's shelters and see if they take yarn donations for any craft programs. ♥
Kelly M says
Thanks for another awesome giveaway! It takes great moral fiber (pun intended) to realize and admit that SABLE has been attained : ) So, if I happen to win, the yarn or an equivalent amount from my stash will be used in items made for charity <3
Virginia Thompson says
I have been using yarn given to me for charity and other items. I could use this for that and give some to my church that does prayer shawls for the sick.
Virginia mix says
What an awesome giveaway and truly generous gift. Good luck to all who have entered. FYI, when I have leftover yarn from projects, I crochet hats of different sizes and donate them to St. Judge's Hospital. I hope I can bring a smile to a little boy or girl going through something unimaginable. 😀

Tina Hairston says
OOOH! My mother would surely give me the evil eye if I brought anymore yarn in the house but you know what? My stash isn't NEARLY as large as I'd like it to be since I really want a wall of yarn and have to settle for a half of a small bookcase so I'm definitely entering.. She'll be alright, 😉
Calli Brown says
I would use yarn to make hats, blankets, and scarves for good charities in my area.
Latasha woods says
I have just begun to making things and I don't have a stash built up yet as I have to be conscious of what i spend. However this would be a blessing as my goal is to make blankets for premies and the elderly in my area.
Joy says
This is my favorite yarn! I use it for blankets, scarves, hats and anything I want to be soft and cozy. Plus it washes up so nice and easy.
