A Bit About the Designer

Amy features a wonderful variety of patterns on her site, and in her shops! Here's a bit about Amy Ramnarine, the designer The Stitchin' Mommy, in her own words:

Amy Ramnarine is a crochet designer at The Stitchin' Mommy. She has been crocheting since 2009 and has been creating and designing her own crochet patterns professionally since 2012. Amy attended St. John’s University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business. Prior to becoming a crochet designer and blogger, Amy worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs for five years and taught preschool for two years. Amy is now a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom with two busy kids. Amy's work has been featured in publications such as I Like Crochet Magazine and Bold Baby Crochet by Dedri Uys. She has also designed crochet patterns for several yarn companies. Amy currently resides in New York with her family.
