It’s time for June’s Designer Showcase! Once a month I have one of my favorite designers share a bit about themselves, and then I follow it up by sharing my 5 favorite free patterns that they’ve designed! This month I’m super excited to have Heidi Yates, the funny, talented, and exciting designer and blogger at Snappy Tots!
Heidi is known for her bright, colorful, fun-loving designs! Her projects, posts, and sense of humor are always sure to put a smile on her face. Here’s what she has to say!
Hi Moogly fans! My name is Heidi Yates and I am the crazy lady that talks to her hats over at Snappy Tots. I’m super excited to be writing on the page of such a wonderful woman. Growing up in a crafty house, DIY was our middle name (thanks mom for that!). There isn’t a craft I haven’t tried, some more successfully than others. I love to paint, knit, crochet and basket weave. Being the mom of three “kids” (24-22 and 7) is the highlight of my life. I’m married to a Deputy Sheriff, the mom of a soldier, mother of the bride and have a rambunctious little boy so I have stress mastered! They all have gotten used to piles of yarn throughout my house and being used as models. I am thankful every day for a great family, friends and my business. Although my business just turned three, I’m new to the blogging scene. Thanks to amazing people like Tamara, I’m loving it! I have 65 free patterns and over 300 in all, with more coming each week. I hope you’ll stop by and say hello.
Heidi has been so fun to get to know – and I know you’ll love her patterns too, if you don’t already! You can follow Snappy Tots on Facebook and check out some of her fabulous paid patterns on Craftsy. Here are 5 of her free patterns that I want to share with you today!
