This book includes a small section up front talking about skill levels, gauge, yarn, and finishing. It's quick and straightforward, with some great tips!

Fifteen sweater patterns is a lot, and you'll find a lot of different styles here to choose from. Long-sleeved, deep-winter, cozy pullovers and short-sleeved lacy tops perfect for seasonal changes and layering are all included!

Many of the patterns are made top-down, and all include lots of info on sizing - here's an example!
