I came home from TNNA with a treasure trove of yarny goodies this year, and I’m having so much fun sharing them with all of you! So today, I’m giving away a fun little skein of Mango Moon Bumble Bee yarn – with a bonus!
Mango Moon Bumble Bee is a super fun skein of novelty yarn, with fuzzy puffs of color. They are crazy soft too! Here’s how the describe it on the Mango Moon website:
Just like that favorite childhood teddy bear, Bumble Bee is irresistibly soft and fuzzy. This downy yarn features plush puffs anchored onto a silky cord and comes in 10 planetary colorways made to go with our Silk, Cotton and Lurex Ribbon yarns. Perfect for accessories, cool weather garments, and baby clothes and blankets, Bumble Bee is simply adorable. 55 yard ball 100% Custom Dyed Nylon
When looking over the skein, I noticed it says, “Provides safe shelter, health care and education to families in Nepal and Indonesia.” I looked into this a little bit on their site, to see what it’s all about. Turns out they work with the Nepali Women’s Empowerment Group and a spinners’ co-op in Indonesia to improve the lives of the artisans who spin their yarn. Suddenly it feels just a little bit softer.
So who wants to win a skein? I have one skein of Mango Moon Bumble Bee in Jupiter colorway – a lovely blend of purples and blues. And to make it even sweeter, I’ll include the pattern sheet that came with it – it’s a knit pattern, but if you don’t knit, then you can gift the pattern to a friend that does!

I have been crocheting for 72 years. Yes, I said 72 years. And I am still thrilled to see new yarn to use on
new patterns.

Such beautiful yarn. I both knit and crochet and could use this yarn to make some massage soap savers ….without having to work “bumps”
