This month's Designer Showcase features the amazing and iconic Kim Guzman of Make It Crochet! I've admired her work since I first learned to crochet, and was lucky enough to take a class from her several years ago - get 5 of her free crochet patterns here on Moogly!

A Bit About the Designer
Kim Guzman is a Tunisian crochet OG - a true expert in the field, with an amazing and impressive resumé! Here's a bit about Kim in her own words:
Kim started her first crochet pattern writing website in 1998 and sold her first book in 1999. After working on the site for 20 years and authoring over 20 books, she needed some time away and sold her original website in order to branch out with her son in the recipe writing field. Once her son Christian had a firm foot in the door with the recipe site, Kim decided that it was time to bring out the hooks again and her new site, MakeItCrochet was born.
Although the site is still new, with only about 75 free crochet patterns right now, Kim has big plans for the future. She will still be providing Tunisian crochet patterns, of course. It's her favorite crochet technique and she has more Tunisian crochet patterns on Ravelry than any other individual designer. There will also be regular crochet patterns to balance it out, though. About 25% are Tunisian crochet right now.
Look out for many new designs, tutorials and videos in the future of MakeItCrochet as Kim brings her love of crochet and teaching to your fingertips.
