A Guest Pattern by Lorene Eppolite!

Lorene used to blog at Cre8tion Crochet, but has since moved on to become the CEO of Furls! So it's a real treat to be able to host her final pattern for this year's Moogly Crochet Along right here on Moogly. It's a really fun square to make, with great texture. And it's perfect for learning a few new crochet skills! And of course, you don't have to be part of the crochet along to make this beautiful pattern!

    • This square is made in rounds that are not turned.
    • The first dc of each round is made using a CSDC, alternatively, you can substitute a ch-3 as the first dc.
    • Each round will be completed by placing a sl st into the top of the beginning ch-3 OR the beginning CSDC to join.
    • Each new round will begin in the joined st.
    • Ch 1 is not considered the first sc on edging rows.
    • Ch spaces are not considered sts.
    • When doing ex-fpdc sts don't work around the full post of the stitch. Instead, insert your hook behind the front two loops at the bottom of the post of the stitch.
