Activity books have been around for a long time, and I’ve enjoyed them since I was a kid (I’m a particular fan of logic puzzles). But the Crochet Activity Book and Knitting Activity Book are definitely a product of the times! Here’s Debbie’s story:

“I am a member of the Northern Illinois Crochet Guild and when Covid lockdown happened in the US I wanted a way for our members to connect.  We were all feeling isolated and zoom meetings weren’t available yet to pull us all together.  I started publishing a puzzle a day to our group.  The puzzles were all crochet related and I tried to mix up the activities each week (word puzzles, crossword, logic puzzles, etc…).  I then moved on to creating a Crochet Bingo Game for our holiday zoom party.  Members were thrilled with another crochet outlet.  One member who was a nurse even commented that she printed the puzzle every day and her nursing friends looked forward to it on breaks while working.”

How great is that?! The Crochet Activity Book even hit #1 New Release on Amazon! So I was very excited to explore the books myself.

Fun and Creative

There are over 100 puzzles, activities, and brain teasers in each of these books, and they really are on topic! You might even find some new tips and tricks – or pattern inspiration!

But what kind of activities exactly? There are word searches, word scrambles, logic puzzles, trivia, crosswords, cryptograms, and even more word puzzles. And then there are mazes, drawing activities, number puzzles, sudoku – and all the solutions at the back!

The puzzles and activities are all child-appropriate, but challenging enough for teens and adults. I plan on relaxing with mine over the holidays – and I can’t wait!
