What are babé crochet Hat Templates?!
They're templates that tell you how big to make your hats to fit every size - no math or tape measures needed! Here's a video I made on TikTok with more info on how they work. It was for the previous giveaway... but this one is just the same, with a later date!
@mooglyblog babé crochet hat templates are a life saver. 3 sets need new homes, anywhere in the world, but only until November 28, 2023 😉🌏🥳 @babecrochetco #mooglyblog #crochet #hats #crochethats #learntocrochet #fyp ♬ Chill Day - LAKEY INSPIRED
These are genuinely SO easy to use - it's hard to find new words to describe it! Working top down, you match the size of your flat circle to the top of the curve. Then, work even until it's the length of the template. No more consulting endless charts or trying it on over and over again - or worse yet, just hoping! Instead, you can grab the template for the size of the hat you're making and toss it in your project bag. If you crochet for a big family - or craft fairs - you can put together a set of templates with your most needed sizes to whip them up faster than ever! Great for all your holiday travel and vacations!

By Once, Use It for Life
I've been using them for years - ever since I first learned about them! And I can tell that the set I have will last my entire crochet career, and keep getting used. These hat templates are made from strong plastic, and embossed with the template number. With each set, you'll receive a chart with all the sizing info, a wire ring to keep the templates and chart organized, and a tutorial on how to use the templates.
Each full set includes baby to adult head sizes from Newborn all the way up to Adult XL (Head circumferences of 34.95cm up to 61.6cm -- 13 ¾" up to 24 ¼’) - the perfect set!

If you've been reading Moogly for a while, you know that I'm a big fan of babé crochet Hat Templates - I've lost count of how many giveaways we've done! So as long as she's willing to share, I'll keep sharing them with all of you! ♥

I crochet and give away! Anything I crochet, I give to people, except for my hats. I'm never confident that the sizing is correct. I have a hoard of beautiful hats that someone could be using, but I don't know if they will fit. These hate templates are genius. I would love to win them and be able to make hats that I'm confident will fit the recipients. Thanks for doing this giveaway. Even if I don't win, I know they will go to the person who is meant to have them. Yaaay!

My grandchildren have big heads! I recently made a beautiful set of monster hats (repeatcrafterme) and the newborn size was too small. So I remade the newborn’s hat the next size up, and of course it was ridiculously too big! I love your pattern guide and watched the video—looks easy peasey!
Nuhaa says
I have had so many hat fails 😅 From too small to too big... always having issues with the fit. Would be great to win this kit...so I can start making hats that fit 🤪

I almost never get my crocheted hats to fit properly. Most of the time they are too big, too slouchy, or not big enough. I rarely gift crocheted hats !
Shannon says
I truly need these. I've been making hats and earwarmers that no matter what I do are inconsistent with the size.
Alana Peterson says
Love this template idea!!! This is awesome!
Connie Dews says
No not really because any hat I make will fit someone. But I have frogged several and started over. And the worst case scenario for anyone struggling is to think if it doesn't work as a hat it can always be a basket/tote/cozy. 😀
Chris Lopez says
Thanks for another great giveaway. 💕💕

I've made hats too big and too small for people both knit and crochet. I'd be willing to give them a try.

This giveaway is very interesting. I've never seen hat templates before. I had a hat fail recently when I made the mistake of making a hat in a #2 yarn with yarn from ICE yarns. The hat was the ugliest hat I've ever seen and there was no stretch to it at all.
Ginger Morgan says
I make kippot & kufi for sale on Etsy, especially for big & tall men. I have a hatform for those.
I also make winter hats for the local markets which cold use some help from these forms.

Lovely opportunity! Thank you, Tamara! Enjoy your day!

I have had so many hat fails. Too Big, Too small, accidentally change hooks in the middle of the hat and then it's really off and all over the place. These would be great to be able to check that you are still on track with the size. Thanks!
Jo says
I'm making hats for family this Christmas and it is so hit and miss, I've frogged and tweaked and consulted so many size charts that all seem to be different. I know that when I make for myself charts don't work so a set of templates would be amazing and save so much wasted effort and disappointment. Good luck to all :0)
Aulii says
I love making hats and I could sure use this! Good luck to all+

Not a fail, exactly, but I’ve made a few hats that have been off sized before. Everyone still wears them anyway 🙂

Oh my goodness... Hat fail monarch here! It's a great learning experience, but hats are hard when you're just starting out. I'm glad that there are hat templates out there.

I have made them to small before and had to start over. 😁
Angela Smith says
So I have 4 little girls (age 4-12). I make a hat and try it on all of them and make notes hoping I can get it right for all 4. This is such an awesome way to solve an on-going problem I have. I have older boys to men and women. I always stress over the sizes. I’m thinking I NEED this!!! 😀
