I recently told you about Babay Fay's Hat Templates, and how much I enjoy them - they've come in super handy the last few months!
It couldn't be easier to make a hat with these templates - just make a circle in your chosen stitch pattern until it matches the curve at the top of the template...
Then, crochet evenly until the hat is the same length as the template - a bit longer if you like more coverage or the slouchy look.
I have the Full Set of Babay Fay Hat Templates, which includes all the sizes, 2lbs preemie through Adult XL.
You can also get smaller sets - the Children's Templates, aka Set A, covers from 2lbs preemie up to Toddler size 1-3 years old with head circumference 24.15cm up to 48.9 cm (9” ½ up to 19″ ¼).

I could really use these - I crochet newborn baby beanies and donate to local hospitals; so far have donated 88 to the first hospital; and just started using a hospital closer to home - they received 24 beanies.
As often as I have made this particular pattern, which I think is really easy to make, I still use the good old tape measure to be sure they fit the specs I received from the nursing staff at the baby area. This would save me some time and I could crochet 3 per night instead of 2!! Hope I get to win.
